You will taste and smell fruits and foods found in the wine descriptors, going back to the wines identifying those smells and flavors on your own. We will assist you to train your palate to pick up those flavors and aromas separately within the wines.
In this class we will focus on specific varietals. Six wines of a certain varietal will be chosen from different regions of the world and will be tasted side-by-side. We will discuss where they come from, different wine making techniques and the differences in their flavor profile. This class will enlighten you to the fact all Cabs do not taste the same or all Rieslings are not sweet.
